Augustinus Bader and Sarah Creal Share the Secrets Behind the #VBGlow

“There’s nothing more frustrating for a consumer than paying good money for something that doesn’t work,” says VB Beauty CEO and co-founder Sarah Creal. When developing the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer with Professor Augustinus Bader, which features Bader's patented TFC8 technology within its formula, it was important to both that the product have an efficacious formula with clinically proven results. “The Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer delivers a range of clinically tested, measurable benefits,” says Bader. “We tested CRPM both in six-week clinical trials, where scientists measure the effect of the formula on peoples’ skin and take weekly measurements, and in six-week consumer studies, where people evaluate the changes in their skin themselves,” says Creal. Why perform these tests and studies? “To clinically prove to the consumer that the product works and to quantify those results,” says Bader, with Creal adding, “[People] deserve to see objective studies and the results of those studies. Victoria and I saw the changes in our own skin. To this end, we’ve published the results of our clinical trials on our website.”

The results of the clinical trial showed 100 percent greater cell turnover after sixteen days of use. “The formula is really gentle and creates this change in your skin by fostering an environment wherein the skin remembers to help itself,” says Creal. “It’s working up the repair chain so that any symptoms of skin aging—uneven pigmentation, texture, colouring, enlarged pores, dullness, fine lines, and wrinkles—are diminished.” Bader adds, “[It] works to support and protect the skin’s ecosystem and visibly improve skin health.” The CRPM provides a boost to both the skin’s immediate visual appearance and at a cellular level.

“Long term results of the product go far beyond the traditional priming moisturizer,” says Bader,  and maintains that the formula and data-backed research show that CRPM “works to protect the skin’s integrity while supporting it’s renewal process.” Translation? “The more you use it, the stronger and healthier your skin will look.”

But for Bader and Creal, ensuring that everyone gets the #VBGlow is paramount. “Our approach shows that what was proven in the laboratory correlated to consumers’ perception of the improvement in their own skin,” says Creal. “It’s about delivering sustainable and inclusive products that offer measurable results,” says Bader. And the proof is in the mirror. If you can’t see the results in your own skin, does it really matter what a lab test says?
