Backstage Beauty at #VBAW20

“With the girls, it was all about skin,” says VB about the beauty for her autumn winter 2020 collection. “I just wanted to celebrate beautiful skin [and] the individuality of the girls.” Working with Guido Palau for hair and Pat McGrath on makeup, the goal for VB this season was to “celebrate the models.” This included prepping models’ faces with some of VB’s essentials. “Melanie Grant came over and did facials on all the girls,” says VB, while ahead of their turns on the catwalk, models were whisked to have VB Beauty’s power duo—Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum and Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer—enhance their #VBGlow. For VB, it’s all about putting the girls best face forward. “I want them to feel proud when they see these pictures.” The finishing touch? VB's latest beauty obsession, the Smoky Eye Brick in Silk.
