V Try—Is the new iPhone 11 Pro Worth It? Directional Design and a Brand-New Camera Say Yes

When team VB was lent an iPhone 11 Pro Max to shoot the Spring Summer 2020 collection, we were all beyond excited. The latest technology with better cameras in a sleek wrapping—what’s not to like? Then when we got a chance to explore the device at length, we found its true shining moments extended beyond the directional design (and yes, we are partial to the midnight green). Below, a quick breakdown of some of our favourite features of the new Apple iPhone 11 Pro.

The Colours are Just as Rich as the Runways:

After years of only three options, Apple has finally introduced a colour for fashion fans that acts as a modern day neutral. It’s also extremely durable and is water resistant up to four meters.

Forget about Selfies, it’s all about Slofies:

Using the front-facing camera in slo-mo mode allows you the ability to capture selfies to show off any elaborate or nifty make-up tricks with impeccable resolution.

Shoot Like a Director:

The big news with this device—outside of the midnight green colour—is the triple-camera. With three cameras, Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto, the options to capture a scene are endless. The ability to transition between the three seamlessly also allows novice directors to look like pros.

From the Dark, Comes Light:

Taking snaps at night has always been a challenge with blinding flashes, however, an improved Night Mode enhances photographs and augments the subject with Apple’s innovative technology.

Life of the Party:

With extended battery life, it lasts up to four hours more than it’s predecessor, breathe a sigh of relief before heading out for the night.
