With the holidays approaching, I set out to create pieces that I want to wear. Layering necklaces and dainty earrings provide the perfect punctuations to slick tailoring or ruffled dresses. It’s keeping it super sophisticated, chic and uncomplicated. VB
The festive season is rapidly approaching and to mark the occasion, VB has designed a series of trinket like jewellery inspired by vintage pieces taking their cues from the 1970s. Horsebits and bridles take shape in gilded brass with refinement while the collection also introduces objets for gents—cufflinks and a lighter case—a first for VB, which complement the range with retro elegance.
Echoing the equestrian motifs found on VB’s pre-spring summer 2020 collection, the Bridle necklace captures the simple refinement of a lariat with clever design details. Similarly, delicate drop earrings provide low key elegance with a jet-set finish. Cufflinks, for him or her, lend ensembles a subtle shine while the grooved lighter case offers a modern reworking of an Art Deco silhouette with a louche attitude.
