For pre-spring summer 2020 I wanted to continue building off the notion of curating a sophisticated wardrobe for women possessing a sense of grown-up playfulness. They gravitate towards fluid silhouettes with distinctive tailoring. Composed but not overly put together, there’s an ease to their approach with a sense of occasion. VB
As holiday party season nears, the need for compelling wardrobe options increases. And while go-to's like the LBD remain timeless, VB has designed the components of an ensemble built for today and tomorrow with distinction. "I'm always thinking when it comes to parties or red carpet, what do I want to wear?" says VB. The answer is a smattering of slickly tailored separates comprising the modern tuxedo wardrobe.
"A bit Helmet Newton-ish," says VB of the strong white suit which she sported earlier this year to the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
The top and trouser has been reimagined for the season in shiny satin with clever design details for an elevated twist to traditional black.
Blurring the lines of androgynous dressing, the tuxedo gilet is the ideal topper and features a cool wrap design punctuated by a satin cummerbund.
