VB VIP—Radhika Jones Wears the Season’s Most Enchanting Motif

This week, Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Radhika Jones visited late-night funnyman Stephen Colbert to promote her latest book, Vanity Fair’s Women on Women, a collection of writings on women, by women. And for Jones’s second appearance on Colbert’s show, she selected a VB dress featuring the season’s most enchanting motif, the chain print.  “I always feel polished and prepared when I wear her clothes. They make me feel confident,” says Jones. “I love the little hint of whimsy in her detail—the batwing sleeve on the chain print midi…when you put on a dress that fits beautifully, it makes you smile, and that’s the perfect expression and the perfect attitude for going on stage or television.”

Jones paired the dress with gold hoop earrings and a smattering of rings to provide subtle shimmer, while leather to-the-knee boots grounded the look with lo-fi polish. “Victoria’s dresses make me walk a little taller, because they have such effortless and elegant movement to them.” It’s worth noting that for Jones’s first appearance on the show this past January, she selected another VB dress in this autumn’s hero shade, lipstick red. “Her designs are impeccably structured, but they bring energy through their sense of play and their colour. They are clothes for a woman who is on top of things and not afraid to be noticed.”
