Woodland Wonderland

As autumn finds its groove so does dressing for the season. One key motif for the season is an enchanting forest print elevating flora and fauna into fashionable territory. And Victoria Victoria Beckham created its own take with modernity on tops, dresses, and skirts.

VVB’s playful approach to the print sits on a toile de jouy which first gained popularity in France in the 18th century. Whereas early versions of the toile focused on a chintz-like approach, VVB has adapted the style for today in twill and liquid jersey.

A pleated shirtdress fits the bill for day or night with a fluid finish.

The art of blending is no longer relegated to the army favorite. A modest poloneck and midi skirt combo act as a directional take on autumnal style.
